RYAN GIGGS was pushed towards the Manchester United exit door after Jose Mourinho refused to speak to him.
Starsport can reveal Giggs was left stunned when Mourinho failed discuss his future plans and a possible back room role for him.
It is understood the astonishing snub was the final straw for Giggs, who has now left his spiritual home to pursue a managerial career elsewhere.
“The reality is that it is not my responsibility that Ryan is not in the club”

Mourinho’s decision to snub Giggs will stun fans, who hold the Welshman in the highest esteem following his remarkable achievements at the club.
Giggs is the most decorated star in United’s history following 29 years there as a player, coach and caretaker-manager.
He won 13 league titles, two European Cups, four FA Cups and four League Cups and made a record 963 appearances.
Despite being overlooked for the manager’s job three times since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement in 2013, Giggs was still reluctant to sever all ties with United – until Mourinho made it clear he had no choice.
When Mourinho was appointed earlier this month he refused to apologise to Giggs for beating him to the job.
Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been trying to butter up United target Paul Pogba over dinner.
Pogba said. “For the moment, I am here [Juventus] and I am happy here, but I don’t know where I want to go.”
