HBO Hackers leak Personal Information of “Game of Thrones” Actors

The HBO hack seems to be getting worse, as the hackers have released personal phone numbers and house addresses of “Game of Thrones” stars. The production giant had experienced a cyber attack back in July, leading to theft of about 1.5 terabytes of data.

The Verge reports that the hackers have released 3.4GB worth of data, and have threatened to release more if a ransom isn’t paid. In the latest leak are scripts of five episodes of the current season of Game of Thrones, and a month’s worth of emails of HBO’s vice president for film programming Leslie Cohen.

Also contained in the leak are personal phone numbers, home addresses, and email addresses of all season 7 actors including Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke. HBO spokesperson has said that the leaks have not given them a reason to believe their entire email system has been breached. It is also reported that HBO has called for FBI to get involved.
