Friends: The Reunion’ special is now available to watch on HBO Max, a year after the show was supposed to debut.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer re-joined forces on the set of the show in their attempt to recall old days, meet with guests who appeared on the series in the past and recreate scenes.

Lady Gaga performing ‘Smelly Cat’
Kudrow was joined on the Central Perk cafe’s orange couch by Lady Gaga, who helped her perform ‘Smelly Cat’.
“I still think it’s better when it’s just me,” Kudrow told Gaga, who was another celebrity to have performed the classic tune after stars such as Chris Isaak and Taylor Swift.
Justin Bieber dressed as a potato
Another celebrity who appeared in the show was popular singer Justin Bieber, who walked on the stage wearing Ross’ potato costume from the episode ‘The One With The Halloween Party’ in the show’s season eight. Ross was inspired by the Russian satellite Sputnik to name the potato dress SPUD-nik.
David Beckham’s cameo appearance
The former England legend also appeared in the special to express his affection on the show. Beckham also revealed that he re-watches Friends episodes whenever he misses his family.
“You know I travel a lot and I’m always in hotels, I’ve always got down time,” said Beckham.
“When I’m missing the kids, when I’m missing the family, I put on Friends because it makes me smile.
I would have to say I’m most like Monica because I’m a clean freak.”
Cindy Crawford in Ross’ pants
The famous model also walked the runway dressed in the black tight pants and the black shirt, which Ross tried to wear for a date in a fifth season’s episode called ‘The One With All The Resolutions’.
