Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has received high praise from the Presidency after her movie, Love In Every Word, achieved a staggering 15 million views on YouTube just weeks after its release on March 7.
Fegho Umunubo, Special Assistant to the President (Office of the Vice President) on Digital and Creative Economy, commended Oboli and her team for breaking barriers in Nollywood and predicted that the film was well on its way to 30 million views.
A Nollywood Hit
Love In Every Word follows Chioma, a working-class woman in Lagos, who unexpectedly falls for Obiora, a man whose traits remind her of the father she resents. Despite not fitting her ideal partner, their relationship unfolds in an intriguing way.
The film features standout performances from Uzor Arukwe and Bambam, who were also recognized by the Presidency for their exceptional acting.
