Sylvester Stallone assured that the divorce with Jennifer Flavin has nothing to do with their Rottweiler dog Dwight, simply, he said, the couple no longer understood each other.
The Rocky movie star spoke with TMZ reporter and clarified the version of their separation because of their dog.
“We did not end the relationship on such a trivial argument.”
The “Rocky” star says, “We just went in different directions,” adding, “I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met.”
Stallone and Flavin split after 25 years of marriage
The love story between Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin came to an end. After 25 years of marriage, the actor’s wife decided to file for separation in a Florida county. Flavin accuses the actor of moving assets from the marital funds.
As confirmed by ‘TMZ’, Flavin wants sole ownership of their Palm Beach home while the divorce proceedings make their way through the courts. But that’s not his only request. Jennifer wants her last name back and also wants a judge to stop Stallone from moving assets out of the marital pot.
Rumors started over a tattoo
The Rocky Balboa interpreter had a tattoo of his wife on one of his biceps, but recently the actor changed it for an image of his late dog.
Faced with the rumors, Stallone’s representative clarified what happened. “Mr. Stallone intended to update the image of his wife Jennifer’s tattoo; however, the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, irreparable.”
