Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday, the Soso hitmaker wrote, 10M in pounds or dollars right now will heal me for at least a month.
Omah Lay, who has consistently opened up about his battle with chronic depression, has previously disclosed how the condition nearly claimed his life.
In 2022, he shocked many by revealing that his mental health deteriorated further after he had a sexual encounter with his therapist.
The singer’s vulnerability in his music and online posts has made him a powerful voice in the conversation around mental health in Nigeria.
His debut album, Boy Alone, released on July 15, 2022, featured raw and emotional lyrics detailing his struggles with depression and loneliness.
