Sophie Trudeau, wife of the Canadian Prime Minister said she has received the all clear from her doctor and the Ottawa Public Health over her coronavirus infection.
Sophie was diagnosed with the bug after sshe returned from an event in London, which was also attended by British actor Idris Elba and Formula 1 champion, Lewis Hamilton.
Elba, along with his wife, has tested positive.
Sophie took to Facebook early today to announce her new status and also thank everyone that showed concern over her health:
“Hello my dear friends, Canadians, and allies everywhere”, she wrote.
I wanted to give you all an update: I am feeling so much better and have received the all clear from my physician and Ottawa Public Health.
“From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their well wishes. And to everyone who is suffering right now, I send you all my love.
