The hashtag #whyididntreport trended on the micro-blogging website on Tuesday. Ladies took to Twitter to narrate sad rape experiences following the murder of Vera Omozuwa.
One of such ladies who came out was 2019 Big Brother Naija Star, Khafi Kareem.
Khafi revealed that she did not report her rapist because he apologized immediately and she created an excuse for him.
Her tweet reads ;
Because he apologized right after. Because I made myself believe him being drunk was an excuse. Because the one person I did tell said I caused it. Because I felt dirty and ashamed.
