Soso Soberekon Reveals How Beyoncé Almost Featured on KCee’s “Limpopo”

Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon has shared a shocking revelation about how Grammy-winning superstar Beyoncé was nearly featured on KCee’s 2013 smash hit, “Limpopo.”

During an interview with Daddy Freeze, Soso, a close associate and former producer of KCee, revealed that a Nigerian billionaire had planned to bring Beyoncé to Nigeria for a concert, meet-and-greet, and a feature with KCee.

🔹 How It All Started
According to Soso, they traveled to New York, visited Jay-Z’s club, and eventually connected with an agent to negotiate the deal. The plan was set, and upon returning to Nigeria, they recorded “Limpopo” with hopes of Beyoncé jumping on the track.

🔹 Why the Collaboration Fell Apart
Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. Soso recalled that Beyoncé’s camp later backed out, stating that she would not sleep in Nigeria but preferred Ghana instead. Since the original deal required her to perform in Nigeria, the collaboration collapsed.

🔹 A Blessing in Disguise
Despite the setback, KCee went ahead and released “Limpopo”—and it became a monster hit on its own!

Imagine if Beyoncé had been on the track—would it have been an even bigger global hit? 🤯🎶
