A potential boxing match between YouTuber KSI and former England defender Wayne Bridge could still happen after KSI apologised for his controversial John Terry-related comments.
Bridge was originally set to fight KSI on March 29 in Manchester but pulled out after KSI referenced the infamous Terry-Vanessa Perroncel scandal in his pre-fight promotion.
KSI Regrets His Comments
According to boxing promoter Mams Taylor, KSI later realised he had crossed the line and personally apologised to Bridge via DM.
🔹 “I think he realised he went too far. He didn’t want to upset Wayne; he just wanted to promote the fight,” Taylor told SunSport.
🔹 “I hope Wayne can put this behind him and maybe fight someone else who’s more respectful in the ring.”
Will the Fight Still Happen?
While Bridge has not confirmed whether he’ll return to the ring, Taylor remains hopeful.
In the meantime, KSI will now face former MMA fighter Dillon Danis on March 29 in Manchester.
