Nigerian street-hop sensation Portable has kicked off intense boxing training ahead of his much-anticipated face-off with fellow artist Speed Darlington.
The feud between the two musicians began after Speed Darlington invited Portable to perform at his concert in April, but things quickly went south over disagreements regarding performance fees. Their online clash soon escalated into a public challenge to fight, leading to the upcoming celebrity boxing match.
Portable’s Bold Words
In a newly surfaced video, Portable was seen training rigorously, showcasing his punches and footwork. Declaring his strength and street credibility, he mocked Speed Darlington, saying:
“I have trained many people before; I will train myself. I’m from the streets. I am ready. Let Speed Darlington run before it’s too late!”
He also took the opportunity to call out Burna Boy, urging the Grammy-winning singer and his mother to attend the fight.
“Uncle Burna Boy, I want to beat Speed Darlington. I hear say he no dey loyal to you. Please come and watch the match, help me bring mummy.”
Fans Await Speed Darlington’s Response
Portable has warned Speed Darlington to reconsider stepping into the ring, promising a brutal knockout.
With Portable actively preparing, all eyes are now on Speed Darlington to see if he will match the energy or back out of the fight.
