In a lengthy Instagram post, the reality TV star revealed how she gave up her life in Lagos to care for her ailing mother, only to face uncertainty upon her return.

Uriel said in November, she sold her car, left her apartment, and abandoned her routine in Lagos to relocate to London in the United Kingdom for two years to support her mother through a new health diagnosis.

The reality star added that just a month later, her plans took an unexpected turn when her brother asked her to return to Lagos.

In November, I sold my car. I had no plans of returning to Nigeria. My mother had just gotten a new diagnosis, and I was preparing to relocate to London for two years to care for her. I gave up everything, my car, my apartment, my Lagos routine, she wrote.

But in December, things changed. My brother told me to go back to Lagos. I was confused, heartbroken, and honestly had no direction.

Uriel said she had no home to return to and found herself staying in a short-term rental that cost N150,000 per day: a steep price she wasn’t sure she could sustain.

I had nowhere to stay and no clear plan. I ended up in a shortlet, paying ₦150,000 a day, she said.

I had no idea how I was going to pay. But somehow, I did. For the first two months, I paid full price. Then they gave me a discount, ₦100k per day. Eventually, they even gifted me a full month free (May) for being a long-stay guest.

Uriel said amid the uncertainty, she leaned on faith and prayer and witnessed an unexpected turnaround in her business.

She added that orders began pouring in, providing her with the means to pay her bills weekly, sometimes every 10 days.

The reality star disclosed that six months after her return, she finally secured her own place again.

And let me tell you, it was only God. Only Jesus. I started to pray. In that space of uncertainty, my juice and meal plan business picked up. People started placing orders. Money started coming in. I began paying weekly, sometimes every 10 days, she said.

And the shortlet never stressed me, they gave me grace. That grace gave me space to breathe, rebuild, and bounce back. Six months later, I finally got my own place again. And I am so grateful.

If you’re in a season where you’ve let everything go and have no idea how you’ll land, this is your reminder: God provides. Even when there’s no plan.
