Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode, popularly known as Toyo Baby, has opened up about a disturbing online encounter she believes almost lured her into witchcraft.
In a video posted to her Instagram page, Olayode shared that she clicked on a suspicious online ad that asked, Have you ever broken a bone before? Immediately after engaging with the link, she described feeling a strange and overpowering spiritual sensation that forced her to shut her phone.
Describing the experience as a wake-up call, the actress warned that many internet users are unknowingly exposing themselves to occult influences through seemingly innocent online content. Witchcraft is everywhere these days, she said.
It doesn’t always come with red candles and midnight rituals — sometimes it starts with a simple ad or music video.
Olayode cautioned against engaging with trends or content that include tarot cards, incense rituals, past-life questions, or spiritual films and music.
She emphasized that such materials could serve as gateways for dark spiritual forces to access people’s lives.
You don’t even have to click anything to be initiated these days, she warned. Some people are already spiritually compromised just by what they watch or listen to.
She urged her followers to stay spiritually alert and prayerful, noting that true enlightenment and divine connection can only be found through Jesus Christ.
The enemy is subtle, she said. “Guard your gates — your eyes, ears, and heart — and don’t fall for deceptive trends disguised as fun or self-discovery.
In her post caption, Olayode added Bible references and encouraged viewers to remain rooted in faith rather than curiosity.
She also listed common warning signs of spiritual infiltration, including nightmares, anxiety, strange voices, and overwhelming fear.
