Stanley Nwabali has once again been shortlisted for the 2025 CAF Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year award, according to Gidipoint.

This marks Nwabali’s second consecutive nomination for the honor, having first been recognized in 2024.
The Chippa United goalkeeper is competing for the title, which was claimed last year by Ronwen Williams of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Meanwhile, Flying Eagles captain Daniel Bameyi is among the nominees for Men’s Player of the Year. Bameyi impressed with his performances for Nigeria at both the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and the 2025 FIFA World Cup in Chile.
