Busola Oke, the Nigerian singer best known for her hit song Eleyele, has sparked concern following an emotional outpouring during a recent TikTok live session.
Visibly distraught, Oke broke down in tears as she spoke about the personal and professional struggles she is currently enduring. She expressed feelings of isolation and financial hardship, claiming that both her colleagues and close friends have abandoned her, leaving her without peace of mind.
Apologizing to her fans for some undisclosed decisions she is about to make, the singer said, I’m done. I never planned to do this, but I can’t take it anymore. Gift can’t do you nothing in Nigeria, no, no. To my fans, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, I’m sorry. I never planned to do this but I can’t take it anymore. I’m done, I’m done, I’m done. Good music doesn’t sell anymore.
She continued: How can you eat when there’s no food? How can you drive when there’s no car? How can you be at peace when there’s no peace? How can you hug somebody, how can you feel not alone when you’re alone? When things were good, there were so many people.
