Nigerian rapper Ice Prince recently revealed that he spent approximately N340 million between 2020 and 2026 on cannabis, with that amount going to just a single supplier.

He clarified that the N340 million only covered purchases from one dealer who lived nearby, and did not include additional amounts spent on other suppliers he used while traveling.
Let me tell you how bad it was. Check the statement because it’s going to shock you, but it’s the truth. Between 2020 and 2026, I spent N340 million on one dealer. That’s just one of the dealers; I didn’t need to check the others, he said. He emphasized that although he regularly bought from this particular supplier, he also had different dealers in places like Abuja, Jos, Ghana, and London.
This isn’t the first time Ice Prince has spoken about his battle with cannabis addiction. In May 2025, he expressed regret over learning to roll cannabis, saying that the skill contributed to his dependency. Then, in March, he shared that quitting smoking and other unhealthy habits had transformed his life, describing his journey from being a chronic smoker to a happy non-smoker as the best decision he has ever made.
