She emphasized the importance of personal growth and self-worth that extends beyond mere survival.

Bello shared her perspective during an interview on The Morayo Show, hosted by Morayo Afolabi-Brown. The conversation, published on the show’s official YouTube channel on May 21, has since gone viral after clips circulated widely on X and other social media platforms.

Addressing the pressures faced by many young women, Bello stressed that women do not need to reveal their bodies or seek online attention to be considered attractive or successful.

“There are so many young people out there who need to hear that the seeds you sow matter,” Bello said. “You don’t have to show your body to be sexy. You don’t have to dance provocatively just to go viral or attract attention.”

The actress also acknowledged the difficult realities that lead some women to transactional relationships, making it clear her comments came without judgment.

“If what you’re doing right now is being a runs girl to make ends meet, you don’t have to stay there. I understand it, and I’m not judging you,” she said.

Bello noted that for some, such choices are driven by the need to support their families or pay for education. “Some girls are doing it because they need to feed their mothers or send their siblings to school. I get it. But, my darlings, don’t remain there. You are more than that.”

Reflecting on her own career, Bello explained that she remains focused on acting because she believes it is her true calling. “I’m an actor. Not every actor has to become a producer. I focus on my path and on what God has called me to do.”

While acknowledging that some actors branch out into filmmaking or production, Bello said her priority is using her platform to make a meaningful impact. “If I focus on making films just to make more money, then I’m missing the point. Money isn’t everything.”

The interview has sparked widespread discussion online, with social media users debating Bello’s remarks about women, economic hardship, and the pressures of fame and online visibility.
