American rapper Cardi B and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye turned heads with their stylish joint appearance at Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday, quickly becoming a viral sensation online.
The duo attended the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show, where Okoye was seen escorting Cardi B to her seat amid a flurry of camera flashes, before the two settled in together to enjoy the runway presentation.
Their presence was also noted at the Messika presentation during the week’s fashion festivities in Paris. Clips of the pair circulated widely across TikTok, X, and other social media platforms, with fans praising their easygoing chemistry and standout fashion choices. Cardi B’s bold red ensemble at the Haute Couture Show was particularly celebrated as one of the event’s most memorable looks.
The public outing sparked speculation about the nature of their relationship, especially given Cardi B’s well-known romantic history. However, neither Cardi B nor Okoye has addressed the rumors, and there is no confirmed evidence of a romantic connection between them.
Okoye, who plays for Udinese in Italy’s Serie A and for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has recently attracted attention beyond the football pitch for his striking looks, fashion-forward appearances, and growing social media presence. Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, to a Nigerian father and a mother of German and French descent, the 26-year-old made his senior debut for Nigeria in 2019.
Standing at 1.98 meters (6ft 6in), Okoye began his career in Germany before moving to Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam, where he was named Player of the Season for 2020/21. His impressive performances led to a move to Watford in 2022, followed by a transfer to Udinese, where he continues to solidify his reputation in Serie A and as one of Nigeria’s top goalkeepers.
