Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has set social media abuzz after sharing a heartwarming video from her daughter Meraiah’s engagement.
Taking to her Instagram page @realomosexy on Saturday, Omotola celebrated the joyous news with the caption, Have you heard? My twinnie is engaged! I guess we have a wedding to plan! Congratulations to the lovebirds, accompanied by a clip capturing the special moment.
Meraiah, 26, an apparel product developer affectionately known as Mimi, had announced her engagement two days earlier with the caption, New chapter.
She is one of Omotola’s four children with her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, a pilot. The couple, who tied the knot in 1996 and celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary earlier this year, are also parents to Princess, Matthew (MJ/Captain E), and Michael.
