Eight housemates are facing possible eviction from the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’ house this week.
Nominations were held on Monday evening, shortly after Abi was crowned Head of House (HoH) for week four, earning her immunity from eviction. In addition to her personal immunity, Big Brother granted Abi’s wager team immunity for the week.
Chimsom Chuka and Sultex also secured safety: Chimsom as the runner-up in the HoH games, and Sultex as the winner of the Most Influential Housemate award. As a result, only Temi Nkem, Cassi, Gerard, Goddessa, Tram, and Nomy were initially nominated for eviction.
In a surprising twist, Big Brother summoned Abi to the diary room and instructed her to nominate three members of her own team for eviction. Abi chose Araga, Yusuf, and Aikou. However, because Aikou was named The Gambit of the season, he is secretly immune from eviction—a fact unknown to the other housemates.
The 2026 season of BBNaija premiered on July 26 with 24 contestants. This year’s winner will receive a record-breaking grand prize of N160 million, the largest since the show’s debut in 2006.
