Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 11, themed “Show Ya Sef.
The 21-year-old claimed the N160 million grand prize during the live finale held on Sunday, marking the biggest payout in the show’s history since its 2006 inception.
Temi triumphed over fellow finalists Aikou, Sheba, Barry, Oyin, Tram, Ricky, Flora, and Bluethopia, all of whom made it to the finale from an initial pool of 24 housemates. Notably, there were originally 10 finalists, but Keivo was disqualified on Tuesday for violent conduct.
Prior to the finale, Big Brother revealed that the winner would receive N90 million in cash and an additional N70 million in other prizes. The most influential housemates of the season will also share N10 million.
Evictions during the finale saw Barry finish in ninth place, followed by Oyin. Ricky and Flora took seventh and sixth place, respectively, while Tram finished fifth. Bluethopia was announced as third runner-up, and Sheba as second runner-up. Aikou finished as the season’s runner-up, with Temi Nkem, born Temitope Chigbue, ultimately taking the top spot.
The season began on July 12 with a balanced mix of 12 male and 12 female housemates.
