VIDEO: Toyin Aimakhu in police custody over #SaveMayowa ‘scam’

Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu was earlier today spotted at unnamed police station in relation to a campaign she spearheaded to raise funds for the surgery of Ahmed Mayowa who is said to be suffering from Stage 4 ovarian cancer.

The #SaveMayowa campaign was launched some days ago and Toyin decided to lend her voice to the cause when she was told the patient was a huge fan of hers.
However, things took a drastic turn today when reports surfaced that the campaign was a scam. There were reports stating that doctors had already written off Mayowa’s case as a dead end.

One of the NGOs supporting Mayowa’s cause, Lifestake Foundation posted videos of Toyin Aimakhu at the police station.
