Congrats are in order for DMX. On Friday (Aug. 19), the 45-year-old rapper welcomed his 15th child. The baby boy, named Exodus Simmons, weighed 6 lbs. and 10 oz., according to TMZ.
Exodus’ mother is DMX’s longtime girlfriend Desiree. This is her first child.X wasn’t present for the baby’s birth. However, he reportedly flew from Arizona to New York for Exodus’ first night, calling his 15th child a “blessing.”
It’s been a roller-coaster year for DMX. In February, he was hospitalized after he was found unresponsive in a parking lot. He is currently working on new music with Swizz Beatz and dropped a pair of songs, “Blood Red” and the Styles P-assisted “Still Scratching,” in June.
