Nollywood actress Ronke Ojo-Anthony, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi-Oke discussed, among other topics, why celebrity marriages seem to not last in an interview with BroadwayAfrica TV.
In the interview, she was asked about her regrets in joining the movie industry, to which she said the intrusion on her private life, as her career has completely stripped her of her privacy.
She also mentioned the loss of Moji Olaiya, who she said was perhaps her only friend in the industry.
When asked about why celebrity marriages do not last, Ronke Oshodi-Oke said it’s the same as outside the industry, and all over the world.
She blamed exposure for the rise in failed marriages, saying women are now ready to earn a living, and do not have time to be controlled by men.
She said she thinks it’s unreasonable for a woman to be the breadwinner, then return home and still be expected to cook.
In four videos posted on Instagram, she lamented that it was that part BroadwayAfrica TV deemed fit to use as the headline for the interview.
She complained that the headline defamed her, and was used in a bid to spoil her name.
