Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has hinted that his successor will be a woman and a whiz-kid.
Amosun’s disclosure apparently shocked members of his cabinet who were with him at the World Press Conference venue to herald the third African Drum Festival at MITROS Suites and Residences, Ibara GRA, Abeokuta, as what had been months of speculations was finally laid bare.
Gov. Amosun said, “Let me say this. A woman is going to be the next Governor of Ogun State. She is a whiz-kid that will key into what we have been doing in the last eight years.”
He assured that with the performance of his administration, the ruling APC would win the 2019 elections.
Before this development, there were insinuations that the governor had settled for the choice of a Canada-based Mrs. Titi Odunfa Adeoye to succeed him
