Arsenal have unveiled their home kit for the 2018-19 season, with one version of the new shirt costing supporters £100. The shirt features Arsenal’s vibrant red on the torso and back but uses white more prominently across the shoulder and sleeves than last season’s kit.
An ‘Authentic’ version of the kit will cost supporters £100 while the other adult shirts cost between £55 and £60. Junior kits cost between £45 and £50.
Arsenal launched the new look with a promotional video on their official Twitter account accompanied by the hashtag #WeAreTheArsenal. The video features Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alex Iwobi, Mesut Ozil, Hector Bellerin and Alexandre Lacazette speaking about their experiences playing football during their childhood.
‘When I was young I played football a lot,’ Aubameyang said during the video. ‘I played everywhere, at school, in the street and in my living room. I got in trouble for coming home late to dinner after playing football.’
The campaign is designed to celebrate Arsenal’s supporters and channel their ‘desire, rhythm, and passion’ that fuel the club and their players.
