Sergio Aguero has finally taken to the pitch in Barcelona colours, scoring in a behind-closed-doors friendly against UE Cornella on Wednesday.

The Argentine has had to wait a long time to feature due to injury, but this is a big step towards finally tasting competitive action for his new team.

Aguero played just half an hour at the Joan Gamper training complex but made a good impression and could be available for Ronald Koeman as soon as this weekend, when the Blaugrana take on Valencia.

The game, which ended 2-2, featured a mixture of first team and B team players, with Philippe Coutinho netting the other Barcelona goal.

Aguero has been training all week, and also back in training on Wednesday were Eric Garcia, Sergio Busquets, Gavi and Sergi Roberto, who had been away with the Spain squad.
