Barcelona are not going to dip into the summer transfer market to find cover for Pedro – who is on his way to Chelsea – and will instead wait until January to sign a replacement.
According to report in Marca, The striker earmarked to replace Pedro is Nolito, a Barça academy graduate who currently plays his football at Celta. They have already made contact, but will have to wait until the January transfer window.
“I’d only leave Celta if it was the right move for me, anything could happen. There must be something in it, because there’s no smoke without fire. I’m a realist and I know what playing there with Messi, Neymar and Suárez would involve. I’d lose some things at Barcelona, but gain others. Of course, if I went there it wouldn’t be to rest on my laurels”, Nolito told Radio MARCA.
