President of the United States of America, Barrack Obama can now boast of his own twitter account with the handle @POTUS. The president had never owned one since the social media site opened up 6 years ago and he got 1 million followers within 5 hours of joining. The @BarackObama which is an old account credited to him was actually run by Organizing for Action staff. This new handle however is completely controlled by himself.
