Zion Ogiefa and Chinwe Elibe, the former BBNaija No Loose Guard’ housemates, have opened up about the collapse of their relationship.
The once-popular Zinwe couple, who were already dating before entering the reality show, confirmed the split on Monday night during BBNaija’s recent reunion episode.
At the reunion, Zion claimed that he ended the relationship because they were moving in different directions.
I basically ended things because I basically felt we were moving in different places in our lives, and how she let it play out, he said.
However, Chinwe disputed his version of events, calling out Zion for misrepresenting their breakup.
What Zion would not do is sit here and lie on me now. You could have owned the narrative, my love, what do you mean by you broke up with me?” she asked.
Chinwe then recounted a major incident that led to their fallout. She revealed that after traveling to Lagos to celebrate Zion’s birthday, he went clubbing with friends but failed to return home that same night after they had planned to spend time together.
The reality star added that she got pissed off, left Lagos angrily and blocked him on all social media platforms and from calling her.
She said, though they attempted to reconcile afterward, Zion’s constant ghosting” made it impossible to salvage the relationship.
