Former Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Cross Okonkwo, has revealed that he rejected N20m from fans who wanted him to be in a relationship with another housemate, Saskay.
Due to the closeness between Saskay and Cross during the show, the fans coined their relationship as ‘CrossKay’.
In the reunion show which aired on Wednesday night, Cross noted that he rejected N20m and other endorsement deals from the ‘shippers’.
Cross said that he rejected the deals because he wanted to be on his own.
He said, “I did not because I always knew that I wanted to be on my own at every given time. I did not want anybody.
“A guy came and offered me N20m, but I rejected it. They told us to do a music video but I rejected it. I rejected it because I believe she’s Saskay, so let her be on her own.”
Cross added that he also received proposals for a joint endorsement for him and Angel Smith but he also rejected them.
There were many deals as well that they said we should sign together – I and Angel – but I rejected it. I’m not begging. I’m very good,” Cross said.
