BET AWARDS 2016: RED CARPET

The star power was shining bright at the 2016 BET Awards on Sunday (Jun. 26). Before the big show, some of the biggest names in music braved the 90 degree temps and hit the red carpet at the Microsoft Theater in L.A.

The ladies showed out in some bold looks—Mya was glowing in yellow, Karrueche stunned in all black, and Janelle Monáe paid homage to her mentor Prince in a black-and-white Sass & Bide suit.

DJ Khaled showed fan luv while walking the carpet with his pregnant fiancée Nicole and joined his We the Best signee Kent Jones on stage for a performance of his hit “Don’t Mind.”

The pre-show also included a dapper Jidenna, who opened with a medley, and Tory Lanez, who performed his hit “Say It.”
