The 76-year-old music icon’s management announced the decision in a statement on Friday, citing worsening symptoms that have affected his hearing, vision, and balance.

Joel’s team revealed that his recent performances had exacerbated his condition, leading doctors to advise him to stop performing immediately and focus on recovery through specialized physical therapy.

Billy Joel has announced that he will be cancelling all scheduled concerts following a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (PH), the statement reads.

This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance.

Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period.
