Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari is dead.

Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity confirmed this in a tweet at 12:44 am on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
He tweeted, “Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon”.
Mallam Shehu Garba also confirmed the news in a tweet and further revealed that he died of Coronavirus.
