Burna Boy Sells Out UK’s Largest Indoor Arena in Manchester Just Days After Making History in France

Afrobeats giant Burna Boy continues his record-breaking global run, having just sold out England’s biggest indoor arena, The Co-op Live in Manchester, on April 21, 2025 marking another historic moment in his trailblazing career.

The concert comes hot on the heels of Burna’s headline-making show at Stade de France, where he became the first African artist to sell out the 80,000-capacity stadium.

In Manchester, Burna thrilled fans with live renditions of his global hits, reinforcing his reputation as one of the most dynamic touring artists the continent has produced. He was once again joined by Shallipopi, performing the viral remix of ‘Laho’, which continues to gain global traction. French singer Joé Dwèt Filé also made a surprise appearance to perform their song ‘4KampeII’, fresh off their collaboration in Paris.

Next stop for the Grammy winner is New Orleans, where he will headline the prestigious Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 24.

Burna Boy is gearing up for the release of his 8th studio album, titled ‘No Sign of Weakness’, later this year. With singles like ‘Higher’ (Grammy-nominated), ‘Bundle By Bundle’, and ‘Update’ already out, expectations are sky-high.

His last album, ‘I Told Them’, was both a critical and commercial success, and if his current trajectory is anything to go by, Burna is showing the world there’s truly no sign of slowing down or weakness.
