Cardi B is hyped for the final season of You, and she’s got plenty of burning questions ahead of its April 24 premiere.
On Tuesday (March 11), the Grammy-winning rapper shared her excitement while reacting to the official trailer, which sees Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) returning to New York.
“I just love this show. I am so famous that I could see the preview,” she joked while watching the two-minute clip.
Season 5 teases Joe’s new obsession, Bronte, despite his claim that he’s buried his dark past. Meanwhile, his wife, Kate Lockwood, and son, Henry Goldberg, remain in the picture, raising more questions.

“Who’s doing the killing? Who’s raising the boy?” Cardi wondered aloud, eager for answers.
Despite Joe’s promises of change, the trailer confirms that blood, deceit, and obsession are still very much at play.
“I cannot wait. Oh my God, I gotta watch this season,” Cardi B gushed. “I gotta finish my album so I can watch this season in peace.”
Cardi B & Penn Badgley: A Viral Friendship
It’s no surprise that Cardi is hyping up You, given her long-running connection with Penn Badgley. Their viral moment dates back to 2021, when the actor praised her for having an “authentic relationship” with social media.
In disbelief, Cardi reacted on X, writing, “OMFG, he knows me!!” Badgley playfully responded with, “I-“, leading to them swapping profile pictures on the platform.

Netflix even joined in on the fun, changing its bio to “Petition to get Cardi B to guest star in season four of ‘You’!”
Though a cameo never happened, Cardi B’s hit song “I Like It” was featured in Season 4, playing in the background while Joe dismembered a body.
While Cardi still hasn’t made her You debut, her obsession with the show has cemented her as an honorary part of its legacy.
