Olamide, the Nigerian rapper and founder of YBNL, the music label, has put out a new single titled ‘We Outside.’
The YBNL boss announced the release of his highly anticipated song via his social media pages on Thursday.
Although the ‘Eni Duro’ crooner had featured in a handful of tracks with other artistes, the song is his second single of the year.
‘We Outside’ comes six months after he dropped ‘Hate Me‘ featuring Wande Coal.
Prior to the release of the new track, Olamide teased fans with a snippet of the song on his Instagram page, heightening the anticipation.
The less than three-minute sound is produced by Magic Sticks Beat as the telepathic partnership between the musician and the producer waxes stronger.
Olamide, a veteran hitmaker, uses the formula of repetition of rhythmic repetition of the catchy phrase “I dey Outside” to a brilliant effect.
“I dey outside oh, I dey outside oh, I dey outside oh/ Me and my dawgs, we dey outside oh (We dey outside oh)/ I dey outside oh, I dey outside oh, I dey outside oh/ Mе and my dawgs, we dey outside oh (Wе dey outside oh),” he sings.
