Tesla has been a game-changer in the automotive industry and according to founder and richest man on the planet Elon Musk, they are starting production of the Cybertruck in their newly opened Gigafactory in Austin Texas.
Added to the production of the Cybertruck they will also have production of the Semi, the next-generation Roadster, Model 3, and Model Y.
All of this was presented at Tesla’s Giga Texas Cyber Rodeo, a Tesla mega event
The event featured Musk and other Tesla creatives, and the venue held about 15000 people that enjoyed and cheered on every part of the show, including the musical event and a light show made entirely of drones.
Wearing a cowboy hat and sunglasses, and referring to the cybertruck Musk commented “I can’t wait to see this baby in production, it’s going to be epic”
One of the highlights of the event was the talk about the upcoming vehicles that would be in development, including the humanoid robot project Optimus, Musk commented that they will be working on Version 1 next year along with other projects that will contribute to Tesla’s scaling-up process, to then proceed to focus product delivery by 2023.

I think we have a shot for being in production for Version 1 of Optimus, hopefully, next year. Cybertruck is coming next year. We’ll be in production with Cybertruck next year. We’ll be in production with the Roadster, and with Semi. So that’s all coming. This year is all about scaling up. Next year it’s gonna be a massive wave of new products,” Musk commented.
He talked about Master Plan Part Deux
Elon also teased about the Master Plan, Part Deux which included the company’s intention to expand its reach and produce other types of vehicles such as delivery vans, high-volume people carriers, and other affordable cars that will be more accessible to the public.
