Eniola Ajao, the Nollywood actress, has responded to online criticism alleging she disrespected the wife of Odunlade Adekola during the actor’s father’s burial ceremony.
The incident occurred over the weekend at the final burial rites for Adekola’s father, which were held in Ekiti state.
A video from the event, showing Ajao greeting and hugging Adekola’s wife, went viral on social media.
While the interaction appeared cordial, some users interpreted Ajao’s demeanour as odd or insincere, fueling speculation about her rumoured past affair with Adekola.
Rather than addressing the claims directly, Ajao took to Instagram to share a cryptic yet pointed message.
In her post, she reflected on the futility of trying to combat every rumour, describing the effort as a draining and ultimately pointless pursuit.
