
Reports today suggest social media giant Facebook is considering moving into the highly competitive music streaming industry…
The news, released by anonymous sources, follows reports that Facebook is testing out video monetisation on its site, allowing ads to be placed on user generated content (Facebook generates 4 billion video views a day!!) Although talk of the new music service is still premature, it would make sense for Facebook to continue its “land grab” by entering competition with both the likes of YouTube and Spotify and Tidal!
