After 231 days in detention, Yoruba Nation campaigner Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a Sunday Igboho, finally breathed some air of freedom in Benin Republic.
Looking fresh as if just arriving from vacation, Igboho stepped out of Cotonou jail on Monday, officially for medical attention.
He was released to the leader of the umbrella body of Yoruba Self-determination Groups, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Banji Akintoye and a French Language Expert/ Deputy leader of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide, Professor Wale Adeniran.

Igboho’s Germany based wife, Ropo was also around to savour the moment.
Though by the terms of the release, he cannot leave Benin, at least he can now interact freely with his supporters, while in the hospital.
