I’ll love to get married again, says Bukky Wright

Bukky Wright, the ace Nigerian actress, has opened up about her desire to remarry.

In a recent interview with BBC Yoruba, the 58-year-old businesswoman and politician expressed her interest in finding a new partner, but emphasised that it’s not a necessity for her.

On the issue of marriage, I’m still very much interested but that is if God has destined it. It is not a must. I am not saying other women should not try to get married because as for me, I am still interested in getting married, she said.

In fact, to show how much I am interested, when I went Al Kaaba I told God and I know he is a God that answers prayers.

Wright, who has been married five times, including to Adewale Onitiri in 2011, believes that her future is in God’s hands. Her last marriage ended in divorce after a few years.

With a career spanning over two decades, Wright has established herself as a prolific actress, appearing in over 100 movies, including Yoruba and English films.

She rose to prominence with her role in the 1999 hit movie Saworoide’and has since become a household name in Nollywood.

She also runs the fashion house B Collections and the beauty spa B Wright.
