Things seem to be rocky between Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders, despite welcoming their first child, Snow, last year. The couple has been publicly airing their frustrations on social media regarding family dynamics and parenting decisions.
On Tuesday, April 8, Deiondra took to Twitter to express her disappointment in Jacquees’ family, alleging they refused to spend time with their grandson or nephew due to personal dislike for her. “It’s really sad to see family choose [not to] spend time with their grandson or nephew based off [of] the hate for their mother. I’m so thankful for the family I have. I love Snow so much and will always protect him,” she tweeted, accompanied by a sweet photo with Snow.

Later that evening, Jacquees responded in the comments on a repost of the tweet by The Shade Room, defending himself and explaining his side of the situation. “Dawg, let’s stop playing with me…like I ain’t self-made, let’s start there. Second, I provide everything for my son, and lately she won’t let me take my son anywhere without her. Stop playing me. I’m sick of it,” the singer wrote, before adding, “and her.”
However, Deiondra didn’t hold back in her response. She claimed Jacquees was associating with someone who had allegedly threatened to harm their son and had previously taken Snow around people who supposedly threatened to call Child Protective Services (CPS). “I have offered them to come to the house, saying I would go outside and chill, or we can go out to eat, or they can see him when we [are] in Atlanta, but no, that’s not good enough,” she explained.
Deiondra also emphasized that Jacquees’ family wanted to take Snow overnight without her presence, something she wasn’t comfortable with. “Snow won’t be going anywhere I don’t trust until he can talk!” she declared.
The tension between the couple highlights a broader struggle many parents face when it comes to balancing family dynamics and ensuring the safety and well-being of their children. Much like other celebrity couples, including DDG and Halle Bailey, Deiondra and Jacquees are using their platforms to air grievances about their personal lives.
