Jurgen Klopp finally won a final on Saturday evening as Liverpool saw off Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final at the Wanda Metropolitano to be crowned European champions.
After six final defeats, the German overcame the final hurdle this time, guiding the Redsto their sixth European Cup.
“This is incredible,” he said immediately after the final whistle.
“It’s been a very intense season, but we scored two goals and we won for the fans.
“To be honest, I’ve been in six finals and I’ve lost but the fans have suffered more than me.”
