Forty-eight hours after a video came light involving Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele, the former has had his ambassadorial contract cancelled by Konami.
The video was recorded by Dembele in a hotel in Japan during pre-season with Barcelona, and in the clip they made disparaging comments about the Asian hotel workers.

Both apologised, and even Rakuten, Barcelona‘s official sponsor, though it was an “unacceptable” attitude and said they would speak to the club to ask for explanations.
Japanese company Konami has also taken action by canceling Griezmann‘s contract as an ambassador, which he had only signed a month ago.
Konami Digital Entertainment owns the Barcelona eFootball PES game franchise and has announced that they will ask the club to explain the details of the case, as well as their future actions.
