According to the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, represented by his Deputy Danazumi Doma, the youths are critical to the fight against crime in the country.

The Nigerian Police Force has just confered on me the honour of being the 1st ever Nigerian Police Youth Ambassador; I am extremely humbled privileged to carry this GREAT responsibility. This initiative by Inspector General of Police -IGP Solomon E. Arase, is historic. This bridges the gap between the Police and the people ( the Youths ) . Security/Safety is OUR collective responsibility,” he wrote.
