Liverpool have confirmed plans for a city-wide victory parade following their emphatic Premier League title triumph. The Reds sealed their 20th league crown matching Manchester United’s record with a dominant 5-1 win over Tottenham at Anfield on Sunday.
Accepting an invitation from the Liverpool City Council, the club announced that the open-top bus parade will take place on Monday, May 26, starting at 2:30 PM, just a day after their final league fixture against Crystal Palace.
Manager Arne Slot and his players will tour the city with the trophy, retracing the same 15km route used during their 2019 Champions League and 2022 FA Cup celebrations. The festivities are expected to last between three to five hours, as fans prepare to flood the streets to honor their champions once again.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will shift focus to their upcoming clash against Chelsea before the grand celebrations unfold.
