Manchester City have officially announced the signing of Julian Alvarez from River Plate, with the 22-year-old striker set to remain with Los Millonarios until June.
The very promising Argentina international has penned a five-and-a-half-year deal with Manchester City, who have paid a reported fee of 18.5 million euros plus add-ons.

Alvarez was in excellent form for River during the 2020/21 season, as he scored 18 goals and provided seven assists in 21 Argentine Primera Division games.
