Manchester City just keep strengthening. At the very end fo the summer transfer window, the Premier League champions have signed Manuel Akanji from Borussia Dortmund.

The Swiss has joined for a fee of around 17.5 million euros, following Erling Haaland in making that same move this summer.

Now, Akanji joins Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Nathan Ake at the back for City.
Prior to the 2022/23 season starting, Akanji had spent four and a half seasons with Dortmund. There, he played 158 games across all competitions.
