Ezeh Chisom Faith, the record producer better known as Rexxie, and Innocent Chisom, his wife, have welcomed their first child.
The music producer shared the news via Instagram on Monday, posting heartwarming photos from their maternity shoot to celebrate the baby’s arrival.
He expressed excitement in becoming a father while appreciating God for the bundle of joy.
Rexxie also disclosed that the baby was born on Sunday, October 5, but kept the gender private.
Fans and colleagues flooded Rexxie’s Instagram post with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s newest addition.
Rexxie announced his engagement to Chisom on social media on March 7, 2024 and the pair held their traditional wedding in September of the same year.
Rexxie is renowned for creating the Zanku sound and producing Naira Marley’s Soapy and Tesumole.
In 2021, he unveiled his debut album titled A True Champion.
Rexxie became a Grammy-winning producer after Twice As Tall by Burna Boy won the Global Music Album category in 2021.
In 2022, he was recognised for his contribution to Angelique Kidjo’s hit track Do Yourself.
The song is off her album Mother Nature, which won the ‘Best Global Music Album at the 64th edition of the Grammy Awards.
With several hit productions and international credits, Rexxie has cemented his place as one of Nigeria’s leading producers.
